Lightness and weightiness are both linked to a philosophy of life. They are choices in life.
Heaviness can be the embodiment of a sense of responsibility, the expression of maturity, the result of profound meditation, or the emanation of a search for meaning in life.
Weightiness may also lead to oppression when we experience it like a burden: an unbearable burden. In that case, the time has come to release and offload a stale environment.
The time has come, then, to let loose and liberate oneself. In this way, physical or mental dependence can be alleviated and evaporated.
Things lose then, eventually, their gravity, their weightiness. The day we finally hold ourselves accountable, rather than blaming others, and come clean about our responsibilities, we unfetter ourselves from ravaging frustrations and fretting crankiness.
If the whole world is in a rush and people are out of step with themselves, they fail to catch the quirky aura and the exceptional quality of life that feeds our soul-searching frame of mind and builds a coveted haven, giving recognition and self-reliance
