Description

"With confidence walking on the catwalk of life " , by Erik Pevernagie, oil on canvas, 100 x 80 cm

Let our lives not merely be unbridled “hunting for likes” or a frantic “commotion of swipes.” Many MISthink they can empower their ego to hoist mountains of self-delusion through artificial widgets.

If we suffer from an unbearable mean world syndrome and fear we will get a comeuppance anytime, let us endeavor to defeat the inner rejections of buoyancy and confidence, liberate our subdued lust for freedom, start to enliven the bleak outlook of our life story, and technicolor the sky of our expectations.

Life is a catwalk and brings us into the limelight of human and social interaction. It teaches us to watch considerately, listen responsively, and feel united with the world.

Let us take the time to find out what people feel and think and listen to their stories. We can lose the narrowness of our preconceptions and the nitpicking manipulations in our brains, making us geared up to view the world openly and confidently.

While discovering others, we get to know ourselves, find inner peace, and thus acquire poise and self-reliance to face the undisclosed or anonymous.

Let us reach out to the people and show them an abundance of goodwill. However, we must also identify manipulations as well and uncover maneuvers in the dark.

When we do not give way to a false self's temptation and the illusions of an inflated reality, we can highlight our deeper self's authenticity and empower the truth of our words and our actions' straightness.

By learning to 'be '(not the 'fake being') and 'be with others' (the heartfelt being), we can 'be in the world,' face fate with determination, and bend destiny with confidence.

Phenomenon: Confidence

Factual starting point: Woman in progress
