Description

"Cape of Good Hope" or "Journeys of love", by Erik Pevernagie,(100 x 80 cm), Oil on canvas

When love is roaming in our mind, looping in the deepest fringes of our heart, undreamt spaciousness emerges, repealing the constraints of triviality and letting stifling narrowness fade away.

While a revolving burst of emotion besieges our mindset, our world is ultimately opening up. Love assumes expectation and hope. All actors of the hazardous pursuit of affection look forward to passing a significant cape without injuries or aching scratches: "the cape of good hope."

Love is a spiritual space where we can apprehend feelings.

Emotion is 'recognition.' When treasured moments arise in the jungle of our personal history during a visual or aural encounter, we capture magic sparks from our past arousing flashes of insight and revealing an inner flare. These instants of recognition can kindle enthralling emotion and fulfilling inspiration.

Journeys of love can be stunning and desperately exhausting. Love implies hope, but numerous are the impediments, and the road may be beset with shipwrecking obstacles since love is mystery, doubt, fear, pain, and sometimes war or hell.

Phenomenon:' ¨Love'

Factual starting point of the picture: two faces joining to a kiss, in filigree "Cape of Good Hope" tag, between two characters.
