Description

"Alert. High noon." , by Erik Pevernagie, oil on canvas,

Society need people who take the courage to draw the alarm bell when the elementary structure of our freedom is endangered. Careful observers, who are ready to act, when high noon has come, should be ready to protect the foundation stones of our liberty. Whistle-blowers, bell-ringers of all kind are necessary to secure our coexistence and our environment.

In the land of the ostriches, the blind are king. When politicians bury their head in the sand, ignorance rules the country.

Officials and people in leading positions have to take their responsibilities under any circumstances.

Phenomenon: Freedom, whistle-blower, ignorance.

Factual starting point of the picture: Person announcing the alarm level.
