Description

"Life untitled" , by Erik Pevernagie, oil on paper , 88 x 66 cm

Life is a game one has got to play. It can be a very versatile performance, though. We must find out how we would like to participate in the game and what role we wish to play.

By discovering what we want to achieve, we try to give significance to our lives. In this way, we understand how we see ourselves and can realize if we actually own our life or if other people rule it.

We must identify where we want to go with our living and recognize our next steps.

When questioning ourselves, we must identify where we are heading to. Do we prefer our life to remain untitled? Will we stand bare and naked without dressing any expectations, or do we decide to interact with the world around us? Will we play a part in the stage of life, or do we choose to remain simply a chapter without a heading, an episode without a caption, an untitled interval?

Phenomenon: Life
