If we want to regain clarity and perspective in the story of our lives, we must be confronted with a slow process and be ready to take small steps forward without stumbling into dismay along the road. With patient endeavors, we will gradually realign ourselves with the big picture of our lives.
Let us fear the torment of emotions that sway in its wake of chaos through the sound construction of reason and discernment. Instead, let us cherish emotional intelligence along the intricate and tortuous paths of life’s labyrinth.
When the invisible wall between two secret gardens crumbles, it may provoke an irreparable emotional slide, or it may be an unexpected opportunity to build a newfangled bridge between clandestine desires and furtive impulses.
If feelings overwhelm the fortress of our physical reality, we need comforting help from our surroundings. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
