Description

Un Brin de causette svp - Please. Just a bit of a chat, by Erik Pevernagie, oil on canvas,100 x130 cm  xx

Instead of growing stomach cancer, let us consult our life trip advisor, follow our mental Waze directions in the cracklings of our expectations, avoid annoying congestion, and listen to the soothing rhythm of Deep Breathing.

When people don't give personal time to social time, they walk like phantoms through life's gloom or move unconsciously like automatons among other people.

Anonymity or lack of interest dissolves the spirit of "complicity" between people. A bit of a chat opens a cloudy sky and brings light into a suffocating environment.

Some are condemned to remain mere "clock and smartphone watchers." They are not capable of reading and interpreting the lines of their lives or treasuring the enchantment of daily captivating moments.

Once the horizon is narrowing and the countdown is ticking hastily, people may be able to tear down the veil of inattention, lose their wintry smile, and eventually recognize the radiance and deliverance of the breathing space they have missed for so long.

We must be sensible because life is about taking the time to recognize things we already know and discovering the mysteries behind the innocence of appearance. Life is a patient quest for second or third dimensions.

By sharing their stories, people can develop a sense of warmth and empathy in an emotional, freezing environment.

Phenomenon: communication

Factual starting point: man walking among travelers

Representing pressure of time, lack of communication.
